How I’m Earning Free Crypto Daily with World App and VidLook

The crypto space is constantly evolving, but one trend is becoming very clear: attention is becoming an asset.

In a recent 20-second experiment on my channel, Coinstronauts, I tested two mini-apps within the World app that lean into this idea: Earn Hub and VidLook.

The results are surprisingly straightforward, and I recorded everything as I went, so let's dive in.

Step 1: Claiming ORB from Earn Hub

Inside World app, the Earn Hub offers simple, low-friction rewards. The easiest to claim are the daily login rewards. I received 0.5 ORB for the second day.

When I checked back the next day, the reward dropped to 0.3 ORB, a small but important signal. Early participation seems to matter, and reward curves may decrease over time as more users join.

Step 2: Earning Through Attention

Next, I moved over to VidLook. The idea of VidLook is that you earn $VIDEO tokens by watching YouTube videos.

It claims that this June (next month), users will be able to convert these tokens to Worldcoins ($WLD) at a rate of 1,000 $VIDEO = 1 Worldcoin.

At the time of writing (in May 2026), I obviously haven't been able to test this out, and I'm just in grinding mode.

Here's what I do: after logging in each day, I claim the free 50 $VIDEO tokens, then start watching a sponsored video.

The payout? Around 5 $VIDEO per minute for sponsored content.

The catch? There's only one sponsored video, and it's capped at 150 $VIDEO tokens.

Regular content pays less (2 $VIDEO per minute), but the concept is the same: your time and attention are directly monetized.

Unlike the sponsored content, which you cannot choose, the regular content can be anything on YouTube.

So whether you want to listen to music, catch up with a podcast, or be more productive with some lowfi, you can earn $VIDEO by doing something you would have done anyway.

Why This Matters

We’ve talked about “passive income” in crypto for years, but this is something slightly different. It’s not staking. It’s not trading. It’s participation.

Platforms like these are experimenting with:

  • Rewarding early users
  • Monetizing attention
  • Creating micro-earning loops that anyone can access

The Bigger Picture

Is this life-changing money right now? No.

Is it a signal of where things are heading? Very likely.

Right now, with Worldcoin down around 98% from its ATH, the dollar value of the $VIDEO tokens in negligible.

If these models scale, we could see a shift where everyday digital actions like scrolling, watching, and interacting become small but consistent income streams.

Final Thoughts

Right now, this is still early-stage, experimental, and worth approaching with curiosity rather than blind hype. But that’s exactly where opportunity tends to live.

If nothing else, it’s a reminder: in crypto, being early and paying attention still matters.
